What: The Auction is one of the largest annual fundraisers benefiting historic Steele Elementary School, a Denver public school in Washington Park. 100% of proceeds go to the Academic Development Fund, focused on placing second educators in each classroom to reduce student/teacher ratios. The event features both a silent and live auction, raffle prize drawings, great food and entertainment, and it serves as a fun social gathering for friends, families, business owners, and neighbors of Steele.

 

When: October 23, 2010 from 6-10 PM

 

Where: Phipps Tennis Pavilion -  This is a great “last-chance” opportunity to enjoy this Belcaro-neighborhood historic venue, which has been sold to a private buyer.

 


How:

·  Tickets $35, includes 2 complimentary drinks and buffet dinner/dessert

·  Reserved Tables $500 (table of 10) NEW! This year you can purchase one of only 10 reserved dining tables. Each table seats 10 people and includes 2 complimentary drinks and buffet dinner/dessert for each person. Tables are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Cocktail tables/seating will be available for those not purchasing tables.

Who Attends:

·  The event traditionally is attended by 250 people, representing over 350 Steele families and households.

·  Attendees include parents and other family members of Steele students, neighbors, and business owners.

·  Anyone who is a supporter of enhancing our public education system and specifically our local, neighborhood school is encouraged to attend.

·  Ask your family members and neighbors to consider attending!

Event Format:

·  Two-hour silent auction browsing and bidding, begins at 6 PM

·  Live auction at 8:45 PM

·  Raffles and drawings take place throughout evening

· Buffet stations with heavy appetizers and dessert, catered by Bistro Boys, and a great selection of beer and wine

 

About The Divino Wine Cellar:

Every year we partner with Divino Wine and Spirits on South Broadway to collect cash and credit card donations to apply toward building several cases of wine for the live auction. This is an easy and low-effort way to donate to the auction. To donate, simply fill out the donation form and drop it off with a check to the Steele Elementary school office on your next visit, or call Divino directly at (303) 778-1800 to make a credit card donation.
